Rotondi is an agricultural village situated on the borders of the province of Avellino. It is located in the green valley of Caudina, crossed by the Isclero River and surrounded by the Partenio Mountains, which include the high peaks of Pizzofalcone and Ciglio. The origins of this charming village date back to 1200-1300 and are strictly tied to the De Rorundis family. Rotondi has grown up around its castle; however the remains of the keep and a restored historic centre make it a site worth visiting.
