Historical notes

Petruro Irpino is located on a hill overlooking the surrounding countryside and the Sabato River.

In 1413 Petruro Irpino was purchased by Pietro de Candida, in 1634 it passed to the Marano Family and remained their possession until the abolition of feudalism in 1806.

The medieval tower is now a part of "Marquis Palace", has a circular layout and only two floors.
