Near the little town of Migliano, approximately 5 kilometers from the center of Frigento, we can find the ruins of the Castle "Sant'Angelo a Pesco" (Pescone). It was originally a Lombard chapel, dedicated to Saint S. Angelo. The chapel was completely changed into a defensive fortress in 1215, in order to control the entire valley.
